This was an addition that we felt was necessary to help people diversify their equipment choices. Item Weight is NOT its physics behavior in this context, but rather how it affects your ability to move when you're carrying 'heavy' items. For example, if you want to carry 100 ores, you'll need to disperse them between a few different item docks. Previously, you could have near infinite supply of items, but here we've introduced a limit to this. Stack Sizes mean that there is a limit to the amount of resources you can carry per slot. We're wiping the Pre-Alpha Tale servers! That means everything goes! These are things we feel you should know off the bat. Most of the content of this update we don't want to spoil, but there are some core changes to the experience that we've talked about in a previous Altacast that we should mention. This is the largest update we've made to the game, introducing an entire new area with different biomes, new enemies, new resources, and new things to make! The forest holds a pretty special place in our heart about what makes procedural systems fun, and is a key part of any good adventure. Since the day I decided I wanted to be a blacksmith in a VR game, Joel said he wanted to chop trees. We are most definitely going to be adding more activities and and improving the experience of the forest you're about to see. This is it, the release of A Township Tale's procedural forest system! With this update, we aimed to make a new container with which we can fill the game with content.
